  • A nurse will call you to let you know what time to arrive for your surgery.

  • You MUST have someone to drive you home from your procedure, if not your procedure will be cancelled.

  • Persons under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian with them to sign the forms.

  • Do NOT eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your procedure.

  • Take blood pressure and heart medication as prescribed with a small sip of water the morning of surgery.

  • Do not take diabetes medication on the morning of surgery.

  • Bathe or shower the night before and the morning of surgery with an antibacterial soap (Dial or Hibiclens) to reduce the risk of infection.

  • Do wear comfortable clothing that you can change in and out of easily and that will not bind the site of your surgery.

  • Do NOT wear contact lenses.

  • Leave your jewelry and other valuables at home.

  • If you have a cold, fever of 100 degrees or higher, a skin rash or an infection of any kind, notify your physicians before coming in for your surgery.

  • Someone must remain at the facility with you during your surgery and drive you home.
