A nurse will call you to let you know what time to arrive for your surgery.
You MUST have someone to drive you home from your procedure, if not your procedure will be cancelled.
Persons under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian with them to sign the forms.
Do NOT eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your procedure.
Take blood pressure and heart medication as prescribed with a small sip of water the morning of surgery.
Do not take diabetes medication on the morning of surgery.
Bathe or shower the night before and the morning of surgery with an antibacterial soap (Dial or Hibiclens) to reduce the risk of infection.
Do wear comfortable clothing that you can change in and out of easily and that will not bind the site of your surgery.
Do NOT wear contact lenses.
Leave your jewelry and other valuables at home.
If you have a cold, fever of 100 degrees or higher, a skin rash or an infection of any kind, notify your physicians before coming in for your surgery.
Someone must remain at the facility with you during your surgery and drive you home.
